Featured Show

Saturday (4/19): Starryville at Westover Beer Garden
(5:30-9pm; RSVP Facebook Event; w/ Mike Elosh). I am actually pretty pissed that I will be out of town this weekend, as I have been waiting to see this band again all winter. The lead singer gives me Portishead and Hooverphonic vibes, and they include digital backing tracks to enhance their music. I believe the guitarist is her husband, and all three members are sweet as hell. I was also super impressed with some of their original songs. According to their Facebook page, they “will be introducing an entirely new set of material, lots of surprises and introductions.” MIke Elosh starts it off at 5:30 (folky singer/songwriter). Check out their performance of an original song at a recent WBG show here.
