This Week’s Featured Shows
Thursday: The Messthetics at JV’s Live Music Room
DC based fusion band, formed by members of Fugazi. Voted Best Punk Band on Bandcamp, 2019. They are back from one European tour, so catch them before they head back to Barcelona later this year. They will be joined by James Brandon Lewis, Howard U. grad jazz composer and saxophonist, who had Downbeat’s Album of the Year in 2022 (Facebook Event Page).

Saturday: Six Feet Apart at Ballston Local
Started during the pandemic, this will be Westover-based Six Feet Apart’s first show at BL (they are Westover Beer Garden and Clare and Don’s regulars), playing covers you mostly know, but some you haven’t heard in a while, or even at all. Enjoy the buzz of both March Madness and live music along with your busted bracket or alma mater’s comeback (FB event page).

Live music is the cure for what ails ya.
